About festival & Contacts
We’ve been organizing the United Islands Festival in Prague since 2004. In 2025, it took place for the twenty-second time — and once again, it was free for all visitors. Over the course of three days, more than a hundred young and promising artists from across Europe performed on stages located on Štvanice Island and in its surroundings on both the Karlín and Holešovice sides. As tradition goes, the festival also extended into a dozen Prague clubs as part of the Music Club Discoveries. Shows took place in the city center, Dejvice, Holešovice, as well as in Smíchov and Vinohrady. A highlight of the program was the grand Symphony for Humanity concert on Friday, drawing attention to the rising xenophobia both at home and around the world.
