Světlem (CZ)

Světlem is a young Prague-based band formed in 2023 at the Jaroslav Ježek Conservatory. The five professional musicians are united by a strong sense for Czech lyrics, deep emotion, and a slightly melancholic yet still hopeful atmosphere. Their music is built on catchy melodies, distinctive harmonies and an authentic expression that draws listeners into their moods and reflections.

Music publisher Tomáš Lacina (WiseMusic) described the band as “soulful pop,” while they themselves position their sound somewhere between pop, folk and jazz, citing artists such as David Stypka, Zuzana Navarová and the band Lanugo as key influences.

In 2024, they released a recording of their first concert from Vinohradský pivovar on streaming platforms. In 2026, they are heading into the studio to record their debut album, alongside new merchandise and several more surprises for their fans.
