Kristy Hernandez (CZ)

Kristy Hernandez is a Czech-Latin American singer and songwriter, as well as a trained stage actress, who initially focused mainly on English-language pop in her early work. In recent years, however, her songwriting has shifted significantly towards Czech indie pop and folk.

In summer 2025, she released her debut EP Pauza na cígo, which introduced her current musical direction. She performs with a band consisting of Drew Linden, Zdeněk Krejčiřík and Barbora Suldovská. At United Islands, they will present their debut album Až bude hořet dům, i ty budeš z popela.
