Bariel (CZ)

Artist Jakub Baierl is known, among other things, from the band Méta Monde and as a DJ with YogaKolektiv. After two years of touring with his original audiovisual project Bariel AV, he released his debut album in March this year titled “Život je jeden z nejtěžších” (“Life Is One of the Hardest”). Expect live guitar, drums, live visuals — and a beautiful experience.

Through Bariel AV, he embodies his love for analog synthesizers and electronic music. A melancholically optimistic millennial navigating waves of happiness, pain, fear, calm, and euphoria. Emotion-driven music built on synthesizers and drum machines, with lyrics that sometimes arise impulsively in the here and now — enriched by live guitar from Zdeni (Good Times Only) and live visuals by Rmn Gee (Méta Monde), connecting the present moment with the real world. The lineup is further expanded by permanent guest Jacob Carl Růžička, performing under the name Be4eight, who adds live drums to the project.
