We're adding more names to United Islands of Prague 2024 and once again heading beyond the borders of the Czech Republic. Among the added artists are:
LPS
LPS is a pop-rock band from Celje, Slovenia, which has garnered a dedicated fan base after their performance at Eurovision 2022 in Turin. Their music has been featured on radio stations, in movies, television, and streaming platforms. Shortly after Eurovision, they began collaborating with widely known and critically acclaimed Slovenian producer Žare Pak, who produced their next single "Osem korakov" ("Eight Steps").
Baasch
Baasch (Bartek Schmidt), a singer, music producer, and songwriter, is one of the most original artists of the Polish alternative scene. He balances between atmospheric synth-pop and the euphoria of club music, merging distant worlds in his own unique way. His sounds are bound together by his unusual timbre of voice, through which luminous melodies are delivered in an elegantly matte manner.
Inspo
Inspo is a modern rock/indie duo based in Riga, Latvia. The duo aims to capture different states of consciousness in their work, emphasizing melody, atmosphere, and mood. "Our inspiration comes from different places and states of mind, where even a passing thought, interaction, or landscape can trigger a creative output."
