We have the first names of the United Islands of Prague 2024 for you

We hope you have the festival date already written in your diaries. The year 2024 will be a ride, because we have expanded the United Islands of Prague from two festival days to four. Come to our United Islands European garden in May for a musical discovery. Here are the first glimpses of what awaits you this year.

Originally a four-member band Good Times Only, which in six years of its existence managed to jump ahead of names such as alt-J, Gus Dapperton or Marcell. You may know them from our series Pátek plen music, and in May they will also perform here on Ostrovy. SEVERALS are a four-member band originally from Pilsen, which was formed in 2015. Since then, they have gained recognition not only in the Czech Republic, but also abroad. This is mainly thanks to the intensive concert effort and quality recordings, such as the album called "Algorithm". If you come to our events, you certainly haven't missed the band Jay Delver. A boy from the Bohunice housing estate, who felt that he was losing his way in life, is trying to build his own world, full of harmony and color. This is how Jay Delver was born, who becomes the main hero of musical stories.

And there won't be any gems from abroad. Here are the first three.

The French group Télépagaille was founded in 2022 and their first EP was released last year. Télépagaille quickly made a name for itself in the Parisian alternative scene. Their energetic and interactive performances quickly helped them build a devoted local fan base. They just finished a French tour with the no-wave band Pons (USA). Bisexual vegans Joe & The Shitboys attack with short and catchy shitpunk songs. This band was formed to point out bad behavior in the conservative Faroe Islands, where the rock scene is full of characterless homophobes and misogynists, and elsewhere in general. We are convinced that their performance on the islands will be a blast. 49th & Main are an indie-pop duo from Kilkenny, Ireland. It consists of producer Ben O'Sullivan and singer and multi-instrumentalist Paddy King. They recently signed a global record deal with independent label Counter Records. They are excited about the future and looking forward to the next steps in their careers.
