Pavel Marcel and Zdeněk “Wimpy” Tichota have been playing together for several years in Michal Prokop’s iconic band Framus Five. While jamming together, they discovered an intriguing frontman in Dor Nagar, originally an Israeli singer-songwriter who, after the usual rounds across the USA and Europe, settled in Prague.
In this lineup, Dor performs as a singing drummer, with a voice that can shift from “Elvis-style ’50s” through “western Johnny Cash tones” to classic ’70s rock in covers of Creedence Clearwater Revival. However, he’s not just an imitator — he also writes his own songs, which enrich the band’s repertoire.
