Tereza K has been dedicated to music, especially piano, since childhood. In recent years, however, playing has become something more for her — a kind of outlet for her inner world.

Her music emerges naturally, with each song representing a strong memory of a particular person, moment or place. The songs are deeply melancholic, dreamy, slow and intimate, with piano accompanying Czech vocals delivered in an irregular, free-flowing phrasing.
