Like when you and your friends take turns playing tracks in the car — one puts on indie rock, another prefers dance music, a third loves modern soul, the fourth goes for tender folk ballads. Whatever. Every song has its place when you truly listen to each other. Suddenly, the shared mixtape makes perfect sense.
