Josef K (CZ)

Josef K. debuted in 2020 with the album Linka B, created entirely on his phone—from beats to lyrics—while commuting on the Prague metro. The album has gathered hundreds of thousands of streams across digital platforms. In 2022, together with Yenzee and LU2 VINYL FLEXER, he co-founded the group DRO with the album Divadelní rapový orchestr. Both with DRO and as a solo artist, he has played dozens of shows across the Czech Republic, including prestigious rap events such as Frontline Festival (2023, 2024). DRO also gained attention for performing in unconventional venues such as bookstores, exhibitions, and even on the street.

In 2023, Josef K. released the album Bodegas with Sosr, offering a sharp and sophisticated commentary on the Czech rap scene. The duo’s joint production subtly references the iconic sound of Supercroo, while updating it with elements of contemporary styles. Each of these projects is accompanied by unique physical releases—collector’s artifacts that sell out immediately.
