Gypsy Devils (SK)

Cigánski Diabli (known abroad as Gipsy Devils) bring original new virtuoso compositions, fusions, and unique arrangements that blend unusual musical combinations with an immense amount of temperament.

They enrich the music world not only with their own musical projects but also with projects created for symphonic and chamber orchestras and collaborations with many other great artists. These include: Die Deutsche Kammerphilharmonie Bremen, Vienna String Quartet, Košice, Zlín, and Moravian Philharmonics, Slovak Radio Orchestra, P. Gulda, R. Vargas, P. Dvorský, Gypsy Kings, R.Astley, Lucie Bílá, Jaroslav Svěcený, Desmod, Katarína Knechtová, and many others.

They combine works of classical composers such as A. Vivaldi, J. S. Bach, F. Liszt, T. Albinoni, J. Haydn, W. A. Mozart, N. Paganini, J. Brahms, P. Sarasate, A. Dvořák, G. Bizet, etc., with other musical genres: jazz, ethno, flamenco, Gypsy music, and others, infusing them with unique rhythm and harmony changes enriched by their own unmistakable virtuosity. All of this can be summarized under the term Music a'la Gypsy Devils.

The Orchester Cigánski Diabli - Gypsy Devils has represented Slovakia worldwide since 2007, performing on all 5 continents and in 35 countries, including the USA, Australia, Canada, Japan, China, South Korea, Mexico, Egypt, and nearly all of Europe. They represented Slovakia at the 2008 Summer Olympics in London, the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver, Expo 2008 in Zaragoza, and Expo 2010 in Shanghai.

Among the prestigious concert halls where they have performed are the Berlin Philharmonics, Komische Oper-Berlin, Kozerthaus-Berlin, Royal Opera House-London, Hans Max Saal-Munich, Smetanova síň-Praha, Konzert und Kongressaal-Luzern, Concert Hall-Melbourne, Goldener Saal-Musikverein-Vienna, Is Sanat Hall-Istanbul, Culture Palaise-Novosibirsk, and many others.

They have performed at festivals such as Bad Kissinger Sommer, Beethovenfest Bonn, David Oistrach Festival Pärnu, Liszt Festival Raiding, Euroclassic Pirmasens, World Arts Festival Jeju, Prague Spring-Czech Republic, Silk Road International Arts Festival-Xi'an, China.
