At the end of the Symphony for Humanity concert, the piece Vehi Sheamda by Peter Gyori will be performed. The final piece of Friday's concert against xenophobia and judgment of others — Symphony for Humanity — comes from Peter Gyori, the author of the project Light of Understanding.
“The piece is a musical setting of the Jewish prayer Vehi Sheamda, which also speaks of unwavering faith in the struggle for freedom. It is performed by all the artists together on one stage, representing not only different musical genres but also different nationalities, religions, and cultures. Each performance of this piece is unique, full of twists and improvisation.”
