Člověk krve (Man of Blood), by his own name Jan Senft, is a poet and singer-songwriter from Stříbrná Skalice. His songs are set in an uncertain time, yet resonate with every experience of today and tomorrow. In his magical-folk compositions he poems about his native landscape around Stříbrná Skalice, situated in Posázaví and other gloomy and half-forgotten places across the Czech Republic. His music reflects the inspiration of the legendary Čp. 8, Petr Linhart, Druha tráva and Traband. However, he manages to naturally translate all his influences into a completely unique and original universe. He was able to record his debut LP V kuchyni thanks to his fans on the HitHit server and the producer Tomáš Tkáč (Something Something, Pris), on whose label Divnosti it was released. In the poetic indie folk of Člověk krve, magical stories come to life, and the use of archaic words also helps him to be original. In spirit, it follows the Czech tramp tradition and pre-revolutionary songwriters.
