Is it possible to take a cello, drums and a collection of vintage synths and harmonise it all together? The three musicians who came together in 2015 spent many months searching for their style. They experimented with tones, their timbre and tried to create enticing songs without pop clichés. Finally, they found a way to bring fascinating tones into the structure of the songs. Within the framework of minimalism, Aggregat combines contemporary aesthetics with a touch of classical avant-garde. In 2018, they played live for the first time at the Fusion festival, then collaborated with a Hamburg-based visual effects studio to produce their first music video. They also played in Rio de Janeiro, and recorded their first album 1 at Clouds Hill Recording Studios. At the end of 2019 Aggregat founded the so-called Association for the Promotion of Electroacoustics in Music and Art.
