Robert Fischmann (CZ)

The recent winner of the Anděl prize in the jazz category, flutist and multi-instrumentalist and singer Robert Fischmann, co-awardee for the Gilgul album of the Dorůžka/Fischmann/Novák trio, has also been active for years as a teammate of the founders of the legendary Nerez, in the world-music group Bran, or recently in a techno-brass band TooT Ensemble. In the past, he collaborated with the Concept Art Orchestra, the Jazz Dock Orchestra, the Gustav Brom Orchestra, Brian Charette, Luboš Soukup and Lionel Loueke, among others, and also performs as a soloist on Štěpánka Balcarová's Angel-awarded record, "Štěstí".
